In the midst of our communities’ struggles from the impact of COVID-19 on people’s livelihoods, the restraints placed on programs throughout the year by the 6-month lockdown and Federal Ministry of Health restrictions, the annual December 2020 Empowerment and Feeding project was a combination of our empowerment and health projects to mark the end of a year of struggles and give a little hope in the lives of people.
The project saw the distribution of 280 motorcycles, 5,000 textile materials (wrappers) for women, 5,000 blankets, 50,000 branded exercise books for school children, 5,000 bags of 20Kg rice, and many generating sets. The motorcycles were forwards and communities to help them in maintaining security in their areas. The wrapper for women, blankets for old people, exercise books for school children, and bags of rice shared to all communities in Igbo-Eze South.
The Foundation affirmed its resolution to strive to put smiles on the faces of its communities, especially during these trying times.
